Description:
File must be cued or playing prior to indexing. Index provides a means to go to a relative or absolute position within an MPEG file. Essentially it provides a mark-in for locating a frame position. Relative indexing is used when the index point starts from any point other than the beginning of a file. Relative indexing supports forward and reverse (minus sign). Indexing requires Constant bit rate encoding, Variable bit rate encoding does not provide consistent STC variables.
